How to Use

Prepare the Milk: Select high-quality dairy milk. If using raw milk, ensure it's very fresh to prevent unwanted microorganisms from outcompeting the Filmjolk culture. Alternatively, boil raw milk and allow it to cool to room temperature before use.

Add the Starter Culture: Combine 1 tablespoon of Filmjolk yogurt starter with 1 cup of fresh milk.

Ferment: Leave the mixture at room temperature (20-26°C, ideally 24°C) for 6-12 hours until it has set. Warmer temperatures (up to 26°C) speed up the fermentation process.

Reculture: Save some yogurt from your last batch to start the next one. One tablespoon of Filmjolk yogurt will culture one cup of fresh milk at room temperature.
