How to Make Milk Kefir:

Prepare Your Milk: Use pasteurized milk for best results.

Add Kefir Grains: Place 1 tablespoon of milk kefir grains into 1 liter of milk.

Ferment: Cover the jar with the elasticated cotton top and leave it at room temperature (18-24°C) for 12-48 hours. The exact fermentation time can vary based on temperature and desired taste.

Strain and Store: Once the milk has fermented to your liking, strain the kefir using the stainless steel strainer. Reserve the grains for your next batch.

Rehydrate Dried Grains: If using dried grains, soak them in 1 cup of milk for 48 hours, then drain. Continue to hydrate until they become spongy and the milk tastes fermented before using.
